"Delicious gear"

We have had a flurry of wine reviews recently for current and soon to be released wines:

2023 Single Vineyard Grenache

“From old bush vines in Blewitt Springs; 14 months in old French oak. This sits in a similar mould to the ‘22, with red berry compote, cherry, macerated strawberries and redcurrant gel. But this is that little more fragrant and elegant – with some rose and musk – lifted, precise, in a way. It’s got food-apt tannin, the balance of savoury and fruitful is on point, and the oak is a gentle shepherd. Very nice. - 94 Points”

2024 Single Vineyard Grenache

“Perfumed and fragrant, with aromas of cherry, dried flowers, spice and an earthy brambliness. Bright, mid-weighted and with a core of punchy red fruits, spice and grippy, gravelly tannins. Smart length and shape, delicous gear. -93 Points”

2024 Sangiovese Cabernet

“Medium ruby, with aromas of red cherry and cassis, bramble, dried rosemary and cabernet leaf. Full-bodied, ripe and plush on the palate with elevated alcohol through the middle and bright acidity bringing balance. Firm, integrated tannins carry through on the finish, cherry cola notes lingering. - 93 Points”
