Tasting: Shiraz is synonymous with McLaren Vale and this wine is a great example of what the region has to offer. The nose is bold and brooding. Aromas of darks fruits (blood plums & black berries), chocolate and licorice are balanced with subtle savoury characters. The palate is rich and full bodied. Mouth coating tannins lead to a warm, dry finish. This wine is a great winter red with excellent cellaring potential up to 20 years.
